Art show opening at Fairbanks Community museum an enjoyable event
This past Friday was the opening for my month-long show at the Fairbanks Community Museum. We all had a good time. The event was well-attended and I got to talk to a lot of people.
Several old-timers stopped to fill me in on various aspects of Fairbanks history and tell me about places I need to do drawings of. I overheard two ladies telling each other that looking at my drawings was like going through an old family album, reminiscing about places they had been to and people they had known. Comments like that make my work worthwhile. (I certainly don’t do it for the money!)
