Kickstarter campaign to publish new “Interior Sketches” book of historic Alaskan sites starting soon
I am planning to start a Kickstarter campaign in about two weeks (February 28) to raise funds for a first printing of Interior Sketches III – More ramblings around Interior Alaska historic sites. The book will be bigger than the last two, featuring 70 historic sites in Eastern Interior Alaska.
I need to raise $1,500 to publish the book. Kickstarter funding campaigns are “all or nothing.” If I don’t get $1,500 in pledges, I don’t get anything. Kickstarter gurus say that one way to increase the likelihood of a campaign’s success is to “hit the ground running,” and get a significant number of pledges within the campaign’s first two days. This boosts the campaign’s visibility and builds momentum.
Here is a link to the project’s Kickstarter “Pre-Launch” page if you want to check out the campaign before it launches – Click Here. You can also get there by clicking on the Interior Sketches III image at the top of the right side bar.
You can pledge any time during the 30-day funding campaign, but I would really appreciate it if you pledged during the campaign’s first 48 hours if you are so inclined.
