If you send me an email it’s bound to be delivered faster than if you sent me a letter via dog sled.
(During Alaskan winters in the early 1900s, mail carriers driving dog teams to remote villages often delivered the mail only once a month. Winter-time mail service by dog team to some remote areas lasted into the 1940s.)
