No Trespassing–Really? Tumbled-down building on Fairbanks creek
This photo amuses me, but maybe I just have a weird sense of humor. The building’s front door was locked (or maybe it was just jammed) and there was a “No Trespassing” sign posted. However, the only parts of the building still standing were the door and the front wall around it.
The whole scene seems like something out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon to me—the big bad wolf just blew the house down, or the bomb-stuffed rubber duck delivered to Elmer Fudd just exploded. Anyway, this photo was taken a few years ago at an old mining camp on Fairbanks Creek, northeast of town. By the way, I had permission to be there.
