Licked by a moose
We drove down to the Talkeetna area this past weekend and stayed in a B&B at Trapper Creek. When we came out on Sunday morning we found our truck and that of some fellow travelers had been tagged. What appeared to be dirty rubbings could be seen all around our vehicles.
One of our party finally conjectured that a moose (probably the one I had seen across the road on the previous morning) had licked our vehicles, interested in the road salts they were encrusted with. It seems the most plausible explanation. What do you think?
