View of Mt. McKinley from newly plowed section of Denali Highway

I have driven the Denali Highway several times, but in the past always west to east. The state DOT started plowing the Denali Highway this past week and we drove in as far as the plowing had progressed (about 17 miles). It was only when we came back out I realized what a great view of Mt. McKinley you get from the Denali Highway. The hills rise up above the floor of Broad Pass enough to give an excellent panorama.
