Bunchberry and ferns at Ermine Hill

We went traveling again last week. Stopped at Ermine Hill Trailhead along the Parks Highway and walked in a bit to see what there was.

It was partly cloudy and a bit rainy and we didn’t go far, but I saw some lovely bunchberry (ground dogwood) and ferns.

Some of the ferns along the more exposed part of the trail still had water drops on them that sparkled in the morning sun.
