Oregon’s Leslie Gulch is amazing place

We spent the day in the area around Marsing, Idaho, south of Nampa. A friend, Woody Woodworth, took us on a tour and we ended up at Leslie Gulch.

Actually located in Oregon’s Malheur County, Leslie Gulch is a canyon on the east side of Owyhee Lake. It has fantastic rock formations made of volcanic tuff. Amazing place!

The area is reached by gravel road, primarily from U.S. Route 95. It is managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
