Winter isn’t over yet in Fairbanks – 3-16-2016

We’ve had warmer than normal temperatures lately, which has meant
melting snow, slush puddles, and bare tree branches.
Then, about a week ago, it returned to more normal temperatures (below freezing) and last night we received a couple of inches of snow. I even had to go out and shovel the driveway this morning!
I’m actually glad it has gotten cold again. We do not need an early spring, which would portend a dry summer and possibly a bad fire season. The photos were taken in my front yard.
